The Alive Revolution was started by Beth Hanishewski and Linda Edgecombe because as experts in the “Getting a Life” business, they both realized there are times in our lives that make us pause and take stock. A family death, a scary diagnosis, kids growing up and moving out or a relationship falling apart. Hell even retiring from a 40-year career can cause us to step back and say, “Now What?”
Linda and Beth have been working with and listening to Women and men who are wanting more. Women and men who have a different picture in their heads of how they see their daily lives looking and feeling.
This is why they have researched, designed, written and produced: “The Alive Academy”
Here’s the golden ticket: You have goals, you have desires, you even have a plan. We have what you need to make it all happen. We have the support.

About 4 years ago, I had what I’d call an ‘unravelling’ into a deep depression.
I had been going hard for about 10 years with my career, family and marriage. We had accumulated much ‘stuff’ -all the fun things you could ever want – but with all that stuff comes a lot of debt and a lot of stress.
I had gained 50 pounds. I was not sleeping in the same room as my husband. My teenage girls were experiencing serious anxiety.
Considering I was in the “inspiration” business, I could NO longer be the hypocrite that I was showing all my audiences.
I had to take a long look in the mirror. And believe me, this was not an easy experience.
It’s from the beautiful discovery of myself I experienced that I am writing the ALIVE Revolution.
I have been there and done that, and I look forward to sharing all my tips, secrets and processes that helped me lose weight, create more money than I have in the past 10 years combined, healed my marriage and created a bond with my daughters I am so proud of.
I look forward to mentoring you and joining you on the journey to be More ALIVE.
Let’s start this Revolution.
Beth is an international trainer, author and coach who teaches people the art of life mastery. She has shared the stage with some of the world’s top speakers including Jack Canfield, Robin Sharma, Lisa Nichols and Mike Dooley in Australia, the United States, and Canada.
Beth teaches people the simple secrets of life bliss and teaches powerful systems for personal and professional transformation that are innovative, and yet incredibly simple. She has been called “the Swiss Army knife of coaches” with a knack for simplifying the most complex problems into small doable steps.
I am a recovering people-pleaser. I really wanted to be liked, accepted and loved and I made a lot of decisions with that as my goal. As you might guess, I made a lot of bad ones. Afraid of rejection if I didn’t agree or say yes kind of decisions. I said yes to things that left me feeling icky and ashamed and stupid.
And I did a lot of pretending. I pretended to be happy and got really good at faking my smile so it looked real. I pretended to be happily married when I was anything but.I pretended to have my shit together in a life-coach imposter kind of way. I pretended to have money when my credit cards were higher than my savings.
I do not remember the exact moment I stopped but I remember noticing the feeling of saying no and not being afraid of what would happen next.
It began simply by choosing different yeses. True yeses. Not yes because I should, I could or able yeses. But true yeses. In these small but mighty yeses I found myself on a new quest. A quest to find a place I could call happy. Like inside myself. Around myself. With myself. A place I feel alive.
Mind you, I took the long and winding road but I now know the short cuts and ready to share them with you.
Let’s do this!
